Therapy with Kevin

Looking for therapy instead? Kevin does that too.

Steady is a self-guided program — education and structure, not therapy. If you’d rather work with someone one-on-one, Kevin sees adults with ADHD in his private practice, New Tree Counseling.

What therapy with Kevin can look like

  1. Understand Your ADHD

Explore how ADHD uniquely affects your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and daily life so we can develop an approach that works with your brain, not against it.

  2. Align Your Actions With Your Values

Identify how ADHD gets in the way of your goals and develop strategies to help you show up in the world the way you want to.

  3. Explore Your Past & Reframe Your Inner Critic

Examine how early experiences with parents, teachers, peers, and neurotypical expectations shaped your self-image. Work toward replacing shame and self-criticism with a more balanced, compassionate perspective.

  4. Understand Procrastination & Build Practical Skills

Recognize your unique procrastination patterns, including the subtle stories you tell yourself that keep you stuck. Develop executive-function tools and sustainable systems for managing everyday responsibilities.

  5. Strengthen Relationships & Emotional Regulation

Understand ADHD’s impact on communication, relationships, and emotional responses. Build skills to manage overwhelm, navigate conflict, and respond to difficult emotions more effectively.

New Tree Counseling, PLLC is Kevin’s private therapy practice and a separate business from Steady with ADHD. Steady is educational; it isn’t therapy, diagnosis, or medical care, and enrolling in Steady doesn’t make you a therapy client.
